<Poem>
<End Poem>
<Translation>
My shite hairs have been advancing for thirty years
Till now my head is completely white.
All day I've been singing and writing poems
Like a mad old man,
Most of the time decayed and sick
And emaciated as one of the Immortals.
Each night I burn incense
In accord with the Eight Admonitions,
Each day I offer the prescribed readings
Of the Petalled Pearl Sutra.
Whatever time is left, as included in spring,
I squander either in idle frolic
Or drunken sleep.
